I'm from Germany but I live in a different area. In the country, in my personal opinion, the German government is not doing enough to prevent this from happening in the future. Instead, new, stricter gun laws are to be introduced. Although the reason is different, no matter how big the knife is. It's the people who use it to commit crimes.

It's so ironic, that almost all knives are made in Solingen. (I have kitchen knifes from there too.) The knife the attacker used probably was made there too. RIP to the victims, and much strength for their family and the wounded.😔😪
