Thanks Russ I really enjoyed that. It’s reminded me to get out more with my camera this time of year.

Russ, I agree with you. Best part for me is the experience of being out on a cool morning or evening for sunset. That is just the best to me. I enjoyed watching your time out.

Hi Russ, truly a grand day out, with some good images too ...what's not to like.

Lovely! Thanks for sharing the experience.
Since I switched to nature and wildlife as my main subjects, I have found that I do it mainly for myself. I just enjoy it so much, and I really don't care much if my photos are liked or not. I haven't posted much in years.

Absolutely stunning video. 👍
Definitely a day to remember.
This is definitely the best way to do wildlife photography, go for a walk and photograph what you see.
These chance wildlife encounters are amazing, they feel magical.

Last year I saw and photographed 169 different birds. From those images I made a photo book, though probably for the last time because of the expense. I also make a calendar with the best images for family and friends. Christmas present problem solved.
I saw my first ever Great Grey Owl today. What a thrill.

I was wondering if you were going to bring the beast. Glad you had a nice walk vs a workout!

I now go hunting with my friends - using my camera rather than a gun to shoot while they run the dogs and chase the pheasants. As you age the ‘game’ changes.

Greetings from the U.S. of A. I too share my pictures with friends and family. I enjoy your videos, especially the skeptic Koz, who looks to be younger than me. I’ve been an avid birder for years but haven’t birded much in the UK. I have the 180-600mm, but it’s a little too much for me to walk about with. On your trip I would have to use my 100-400mm. Alas, I’m not young anymore. Was that a Wagtail?

Very nice video.

Great that you're having fun with your 180-600mm. For me, this lens is a very bad purchase. AF speed is too slow (for shooting speedway, compared to the Fujifilm lens with LM I sold some days ago), too heavy for easy panning shots. My fault.

Bought a printer a few days ago, Epson ET 8550, inspired by the Youtube channel of Keith Cooper.
Printing photos in A3/A3+ brings them to life. Much better than my hard drive graves... at a reasonable price compared with Canons ink pricing.
Reminds me of my darkroom I had 45 years ago.

I share my pics with family and friends, which includes internet friends on discord
then keep them to myself
although I am interested in getting one or two landscape shots I took framed and put up in my living room to cover up the plain white walls
