I was watching an interview my friend Graham did with Floyd Norman he was an animator for Disney, he was the first African American animator hired on by Disney and he said he was afraid to talk to Walt because he was so star struck when he was around him he was afraid he might say something wrong but he did muster up the courage to go to his office to have him sign his Art of Animation book when it first came out. Thank you for sharing this.

My mother is buried there along with my paternal grandparents and auntie and uncle. We travel from Oregon to visit there once in a while. We were asked who we were visiting at the gate the last time we went there. I guess they have a lot of people that just want to look at movie stars graves now. Thanks for all your vlogs. I grew up there in the 50's and 60's and miss it sometimes but I'm pretty sure I could never move back. You are an awesome young man, Jason. And you make me very happy.

It's great listening to you telling historical stories, I always learn something I didn't know! Mr. Disney has such a nice place to go and pay respects. That graveyard Scrooge needs to go, hopefully he has had a change of heart!!! Thank you, Jordan!!! 🌼

That's so sad that he has to be so grumpy. Walt touched alot of people, it's a shame that we can't go see his grave without him throwing away the stuff that people put there.

I was at Disneyland when it first opened with my parents. I was a toddler and I remember the Mark Twain Riverboat ride and the carousel ride. I also enjoyed seeing The Wonderful World of Color every week where Walt Disney would give a small narrative of the movie to be shown that week. Wonderful memories for sure. Thank you for showing the gravesite & statues at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Nice to see the little Jahster happy to see you come home too. 🌹❤️🙏🏻

I'm glad you brought up Walt's early failures. Many people don't realize that all didn't go smoothly at first! I mean we could be paying tribute to Mortimer Mouse instead of Mickey!Walt Disney as he got older wanted to inspire people to remain young at heart and I think he managed to do a wonderful job! You only have to go see Disney Land or Disney World to appreciate his place in history. I think Walt may have had a blood clot that ended his life. My husband had his lung removed also and a week after he got out of the hospital he threw a blood clot to his heart and it took him being in the ER with him and being a nurse I wouldn't let the Dr.'s quit and I talked my husband back. He survived and he told me while he was gone he had no more pain, it was dark, but he could still hear my voice and fought his way back. If you doubt my story at all I'll find a way to get you a copy of his flat line EKG. I still have it! So, I was told that this is very often what happens after a lung removal. If Walt had a clot it could have very quietly been the issue. Thank God for the genius of Walt Disney and all he gave us!

The chain in front of George Washington is so fabulous with rich American history! Walt Disney was a creative genius! What a negative cemetary employee you met at the grave sight. Clark Gable looked unwell in the Misfits. I did not realize losing 40 pounds so quickly was the culprit to set off Clark's demise! Cool watch.

My brother and I were kicked out of the Great Mausoleum at FL Glendale for just walking around. No lie. We were just walking through and a voice came over a loudspeaker (which creeped me out!) and said that we had to leave. And then the door next to us was unlocked and we left. They were watching us on CCTV! I've heard other bad reviews about this cemetery. They're a funny bunch.

I use to work at Glendale Forest Lawn. President Reagan and Nancy where married at Glendale Forest Lawn. Lots of people have gotten married at FL- I use to be a Florist and would help set up the weddings between funerals-kinda weird but the Churches are beautiful and have lots of live plants and flowers- Forest lawn does not leave fake flowers out- They only believe in fresh ones .

What are the odds... I had never heard about the chain they stretched across the Hudson until 2 days ago. I was watching an episode of "Mysteries At The Museum" and they featured links of that chain. Apparently in the late 1800 a professor claimed to have some of the links and sold them each for some major $$, but they turned out to be fake. Good Vlog man.

So some guy throws everything away? The stuff people leave for him to pay their respects? Man I would never.

It's sort of strange to see monuments to George Washington and Thomas Jefferson on the west coast.
