Vox mini5 rhythm guitar amplifier review - great for busking!

I've busked with this for years and have been exceedingly pleased. I travel by bike, bus, and train, so the outside case isn't as pretty as it once was, but for simple connections (autoharp or keys) of one instrument and one vocal mic, it's a great little amp be and has proven to be quite hardy. I ran into a few similar issues when using a harmonizer box if any of the batteries were a bit drained (I use expensive rechargeables). I highly recommend it for someone who needs portability and only basic amplification.

I have a DA5 and it’s terrific. My favorite feature is it feeds back really nicely.
However mine doesn’t have as many of those features .

Would this work and last long with a powerbank connected using a myvolt 12v centre negative usb adapter? I have a 20000mah rechargeable battery and it would seriously be easier to just plug and go!

I also bought a big EV horn on e bay, sawed off the horn. So I just had a driver. Attached it inside the DA 5 with an AB switch. Run a 1/2 “ hose out the side and up a 1/2 pvc pipe.
Now I have a talk box also.
And flip a switch…..regular amplifier.
Pretty trick if I do say so myself.

I wonder if the amp batteries could be augmented with a backup battery pack as I've seen done on say the Spark 40?

I bought this amp just for the drum machine. Use it quite a bit for that.

I had one of those and it sounded great ... for a very short time. Great features ... maybe it was a lemon. I replaced it with a Roland mini cube. I'll talk all day about how good that thing is.

It's because you need 1.5 volt batteries . Rechargeable are only 1.2 . It needs 12 volts . I've been there.
