When i was working as a stone mason with my uncle almost ten years ago, i was taught to swing a sledge by throwing it straight up and pulling it down, as it wastes energy to swing it around and from behind your head, he mentioned thats also how you swing an axe, all these years later i see some influencers swinging axes wrong “looking” strong and swinging into super soft wood.
