The judges messed this one up so bad... Just give all 3 women a Bronze and call it a day.

It was so brutal for both Romanians. One had a penalty of 0.10 and is out of the podium, and the other had the bronze medal taken away. Too brutal for ladys at this age. ❤❤❤

Sabrina Maneca-Voinea was also screwed over. She was deducted a tenth of a point for stepping out of bounds. The video review clearly showed that she did NOT step out of bounds. The Romanian inquiry on her behalf was declined. Give her back that tenth of a point that was erroneously deducted from her score and she would have a score of 13.800 instead of 13.700 and 4th place. With a corrected score of 13.800, Sabrina would have won the bronze outright over both Ana and Jordan.

Brutal is the fact that the romanian flag was showing on the podium and then it was lifted up because of some judges who wongly noted both performancies. They should be the one to suffer, not two young gymnasts. Everyone saw the exercises and even Nadia Comaneci agreed that Sabrina should be on the podium.

As a former gymnast, The one's who should be stripped of anything should be the judges, they are the reason why all the drama happened, had they scored Jordan's routine correctly initially there would be no drama #firethejudges!!!

The Romanian earned it, and deserves it. It's a shame that she wont ever be able to stand on the podium, but it's fantastic that she's getting her Bronze Medal back that she rightfully earned.

She did her best but the mess up belongs to the judges. Expose the judges' faces instead of Jordan. She's just a sweetheart.

Didn't one of hamm brothers steal a gold medal from south korean gymnast like 20 years ago? He was basically given a gold medal because of judging error.

Olympians have had to “give back” medals quite a few times in Olympic history, sometimes even whole teams. Andrea Raducan anybody? Also, Sabrina got ROBBED.

if the appeal of the USA team was made after the regulation time, then the appeal is null and void, it is not valid, it was rejected and the previous score is returned

Fairness is crucial in these high stakes competitions. Nadia Comănec advocated for the Romania gymnast. Her comments are on the spot. Four seconds late matters. Every competitor should welcome compliance with the rules. 4 milliseconds led to a gold medal. Certainly four seconds can lead to a bronze. I think we all need to learn from the competitive respect shown by the Breaking female medal winners.

Why does the last performance only get minute to report an issue?

Apparently, FIG has not been timing their own time limit. Also, the US Olympic Committee has evidence that it took 47 seconds. It' arbitrary for the Court of Arbitration for Sport to have even heard this case considering the official judges did not time the inquiring officially. No ethical court would hear such a situation when there is only arbitrary evidence available.

This after the judges took forever-and-a-day to post scores for routines on other apparatuses. Both men’s and women’s gymnastics saw a lot of athletes being “iced” while they had to wait an awkward amount of time for judges to score routines. You’d think that they were taking so long thoroughly going over the routine to check for errors and omissions in their judging…

The two Romanians outperformed Jordan.

Fire the judges, give both Ana and Jordan bronze. Problem solved.
