We had a lot of trouble with this issue. Problem one: we used a pack of AAA batteries that we had for a long time. Second problem - the charger never displayed a red warning light. It turns out that our chronic sensor problems were due to using old AAA batteries, which was compounded by the fact that the charger never warned us that the batteries were not good. We threw away the old AAA batteries. We now only use packs of AAA batteries fresh off the Walmart shelf. We change out the charger AAA after two uses. Our sensor problems went away.

Hello thank you for your useful advice. I have checked mine and the voltage were a bit low so I have had short blinking red when inserting transmitter. It seemed ok but it's better now thank you.

It's amazing this system couldn't avoid using consumables (batteries). I mean whatever happened to a microSD adapter that you could plug into the wall. C'mon Medtronic! You're opting not to be better I presume for financial reasons. Okay I'm done :-)

I really don't understand why the charger is battery powered. Why doesn't Medtronic offer a plug in or USB charger?

When I first used the transmitter it went in easily. After international travel I could not insert the transmitter into the charger. Two possible issues, after uses there is tape residue on the transmitter that my be blocking or the unit may have been bent in travel. Is there trouble shooting for this issue?

I charged the transmitter until I got the solid green light. However, after putting on my new sensor, transmitter percentage only reads 79%, why? Battery is still good in the transmitter.

My Medtronic MMT-7703 transmitter only holds a charge for 5 days. Medtronic tells me they don't have replacements, and are not making them any more.

My charger refuses to open, I cant switch the batteries... I use a decent amount of strength if I use anymore I'll just end up breaking it...

Two hours recharching the transmitter? As far as I know it is half an hour. Two hours is the warming up time of the new connected sensor.

While everybody is going USB-C, Medtronic uses AA batteries !! Welcome to the 21st century! And whatabout the battery cap in the pumps that keeps breaking? It's been like that for 20 years and they didN't change the design! Same with the belt clip! 😡🤬😈
