Better to have all the three Banks as their performance and returns vary at different times.

I think ICICI and SBI both can be added in the portfolio, in order to have the benefit of private and public sector both with 60:40 ratio, every mutual funds house with large cap portfolio kept these three bank in their top investment stocks, that's also give us the idea to be a safer bet in these stocks.

At present these three bank's prices are moving in fair value...
I personally opt for private bank ETF ... rather than choosing one particular bank.

In our case, we're using mutual funds and letting fund manager to perform by doing their job. As a different strategy, having index to avoid bias.

Icici bank is best & it gives consistent return too but Hdfc bank is going to breakout above 1800 level have pontial to giving good return over 3 year. SBI goes to consolidation so Dont expact too much.

I have both SBI and ICICi. Never had HDFC as it was always expensive. I think need to do SIP in all three and may be Kotak. From smaller pvt bank, IDFC First and IndusInd are good from future growth. That’s my 20 years of experience with stock market 😊😊

Hello ET money, I have a doubt. If i start an SIP initiation date on 27th of July & select the SIP date as 8th of every month, then the initial payment will be cut by 27th of July.
Then from when will my money start automatically to debit from my account, whether 8th of August or 8th of september? If the money gets debited on 8th of August, then theres only 12 days since 1st debit, right?
