Lemon Focaccia Recipe
📝 Ingredients
• Flour – 100g
• Instant dry yeast – 2g
• Water – 70g
• Salt – 2g
• Olive oil – 8g
• 2-3 tbsp castor sugar mixed with lemon zest
• Sliced lemon
Instructions 📝
- Make the dough by combining flour, yeast, water, salt, and olive oil. Let it proof for 1 hour.
- After proofing, knock back the dough and spread it in a tray or pan greased with olive oil.
- Mix castor sugar with lemon zest and fold into the dough, side by side.
- Proof again until doubled in size.
- Apply melted butter and make dimples in the dough.
- Top with sliced lemon and let proof for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes.
- Once baked, brush with butter and enjoy warm! 😍
