Stables Regeneration Phase 1: July 2023 update

Work on our latest regeneration project is now well underway. Although we're only working on a single corner of our vast Stables complex, this programme of works will have a major impact on our ability to improve and expand the hospitality and catering offer across the whole of Wentworth Woodhouse.

We recently made some modifications to the design layout of the new production kitchens that form a significant part of this project and we cant wait to share these with you in our next update video.

Thanks for another update on progress which are proving a really interesting series of videos to watch on the step-by-step restoration of a beautiful house.
Please tell me that at 0.49 someone is not using a circular saw without dust suppression - only it looks like a classic dust rooster tail?

While I don’t feel your presentation is dated ( I don’t even know what that means) I do have a suggestion. Wentworth Woodhouse is so vast that “Today we are at Lady Wentworth’s Tea Rooms” or “ Today we are at the Carriage House “ or “Today we are at the West Front “ is sometimes more disorientating then helpful. I sometimes follow you with Google Maps or your website open on my lap. In my opinion it would be helpful especially for new projects to have near the beginning a map of the estate and to zoom into the area being featured. It would provide context to the work being done. For instance on most projects The Tea House would be a large fraction of the work, a quick glance at the map will show otherwise.

I really hate to be negative but surely I can’t be the only one that finds the way a lot of these information videos are presented and put together is very dated and drab. The content is great and so are the people featured in them, the house is interesting and has a lot going on people would like to see, but it’s not going to appeal to many people in it’s current format, that’s why the amount of subscribers to this channel is so low.
