I really learnt how to do my button holes now. You presented it in a pretty good way by going slowly. On the top of that you covered all kinds in one presentation. Thank you

You make this so clear and I like the demonstration of the various buttonholes so that we can compare. Thank you.

With your wonderful guidance my knitting may just look a bit like I know what I am doing. I am self taught, so your videos and explanations to me is a fantastic gift. Thank you once again for an awesome video.

This is a wonderful video. I was looking for a more neat way to do a horizontal button hole. This is brilliant. I’ve seen a few different videos and their instructions didn’t work when I did it. And I mean I did it over and over and over and it never came out just right. Yours is perfect and looks so clean. Thank you so much. I hoped that it was written out in the show notes. I guess I’ll just have to watch the video over and over until it sticks. Thank you again.

Thank you for your tutorials and for the attention to detail, which you provide. I always turn to your podcasts, when I don’t understand how to use a method. I recently had a problem when, the button band I knitted became tight and curved on the cast-off row. I hadn’t realised that it was necessary to create a formula, in order to prevent this happening.

So easy to understand your tutorials. Thank You so much ❤ Making hanging dish towels for the first & they need a button added to hang.

I am so grateful for your button band and hole tutorials! The four-stitch bound off hole is perfect for my mother-in-law’s Aran cardigan. Her arthritis and vision problems had kept her from finishing an almost completed long cabled cardigan (so much meticulously done work!). I could not stand to let her toss it out, even though I am an advanced beginner but have never knitted a cardigan before, AND she had misplaced the pattern. So I read and mirrored her work to finish the left front, sewed all five pieces together, but then was stumped…until I found your tutorials. Hallelujah 😊 thank you, thank you, thank you! Matched her work and turned out lovely.

Your channel has taken my veteran knitting to the next level. Have you ever considered creating a Patreon? It would be nice if we could support your work directly. It’s helped so many.

This tutorial, as well as the one on making the button band, was extremely helpful. I also appreciate that you keep the boo-boos in…makes me not feel alone. Thank you!

I’ve been making socks where if you are toe up, you want a very stretchy bind off. Certainly good for socks but not too stretchy for a button band. When I first learned to knit, I just had one cast on and one cast off. I don’t want to count the numbers I’ve learned since YouTube, but it has really improved my knitting.

Thank you for all you do for knitters of all skills.
