Question for you: if your company uses a .net TLD for their site would the convention still be to create a com directory or would is it acceptable to create a net directory instead? I understand this might be a bit arbitrary but I'd like to stick to whatever practice is most common. Thanks in advance! Great videos.

good video but where is it that PHP knows where the BASE is i.e. \com\killerphp\ is all fine but where in the directory hierarchy are you telling it where the \com root is derived? (i.e. that FIRST slash, PHP's not born knowing where the hell that means, so where is it? is it the _SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] if so do you say so?)

I know this i two years ago, but if people hit this video and think the same, then you should follow the structure of thee application domain so "example.org" would be "\org\example" as the "root".
