Bro you've never heard of the toothpaste fix??!!?? swear to God no lie this has saved many discs of mine back in the day legit works as long as it is done correctly

It actually works. If you put toothpaste then wipe it off mostly the toothpaste will still be in the scratches and somehow the laser will then be able to read the disc.

I used to do that back on xbox 360 and ps3 believe it or not it would strangely make my games work

Toothpaste fix?? Wtf? Did someone put fucking toothpaste on the CD or the Xbox? Skyrim is my top 1 favorite game. Whoever doesn't like Skyrim is a boomer

It wasn't toothpaste but it was toothpastes like that came with a disc cleaning kit back in the ps2 days. There was this grayish brown slightly graining stuff used to polish disc which wasn't helping my copy of metal gear solid 3 snake eater and after hearing about the toothpast trick I decided to just leave the polish to dry over night as thendisc didn't seem like it was going to work anyways so I buffed it out the next day after it dried then it worked no problem
