Philby was a British communist who served the USSR. He moved to Moscow in 1963 and resided there until his decease in 1988. He was educated at Westminster School and Trinity College Cambridge. Kim Philby was a journalist.

Like it or not, he had idealistic convictions and never wavered from those beliefs. I admire him for that. Thanks for giving us an interesting glimpse of his Moscow environment and background.

You missed out the most important word when describing Philby. Traitor...he was a traitor to his country. That is unforgivable in my view
