Man!! Growing up...this album was my alarm clock on Sunday mornings. My mom would come home from work and play this as we would get up to get ready for Sunday School. She didn't send us, she went too; she was the Sunday School Superintendent and adult teacher!! Being up all night, then having enough energy to go to church....amazing mother I had!! Continue to rest Betty Butler!!!

I had to swing by this to this song after hearing a Pastor mention this during his teaching this morning. It triggered my memory of this song! 5.2.2025

I remember hearing this song at church when I was 10 in D.C and putting my head in my lap crying because I was so overwhelmed. My mom was fanning me and rubbing my back. It was her first time in church. I went with my neighbors to this church every Sunday from Baltimore to D.C. My mom recently passed and when I hear this song I think about that day.

I remember hearing this song as a teenager and later singing it my freshman year in college. I really miss these type of songs being sung in the church. They were so heartfelt and had so much meaning.

Thank You Jesus for never leaving me alone. You are blessing me even now in my senior years. I remember this song. I wasn't saved then. But thanks be to God He saved me August 19, 1984! Been through the fire and the rain but He was right there with me every step of the way. I am grateful. Thank You Jesus for saving me. I love You because You first loved me. Be encourage brothers and sisters. He knows our names and He will never leave us alone.
