Pattern review of my #burdachallenge2018 from Burdastyle 10/2018 magazine. Pattern is #102 made in a wool fabric. Love how they turned out!

Hi guys! Hope you find this useful. I am sorry about the glitch with the sound at the end of the video. I honestly have no idea why it went out of sync like that :-(. After 2 other non sound problems I had while editing this video I decided to call it a day and just put it out there - at least the sound is good quality. Beautiful job on the trousers. I whole heartedly agree with you about sewing on a vintage machine. I am in the process of making a sheet set and I'm using my vintage Singer 15-91 1954 machine (came in the desk). The stitches are smaller, extremely well balanced, and the maneuvering of the fabric is a dream. She can only go forwards and backwards, but she is impressive. I look forward to seeing you on the catwalk.

You have to do a pocket alteration tutorial! You have to do more than one pocket tutorial! I need to see the patterns in action. I always try to follow the instructions but sometimes I just don't understand. Please. Save my pile of unfinished garments. #VisualLearner.

WOW ! FANTASTIC fit and what beautiful how I wish I live near u and I would come over for some sewing lessons, Oh Yes! My 1954 Elna Supermatic sewing machine has been my faithful friend for almost 57 years. My parents gave it to me in 1961 - yes, I am a pensioner who returned to sewing on retiring 4-5 years ago. My Elna also does invisible zips beautifully - I was able to order a presser foot online. Buttonholes are another story ... Enjoy your vintage machine!

My mother (who was a professional seamstress) did all her sewing on a fullmetall singer, that did just forwards/backwards and zickzack. I learned to sew on it as well...back in the 90s...but I gotta admit, that I rather enjoy the comforts of my modern machines 😎
