Chemical Plant Explosion Injures Two in east China

Two people were slightly injured after a boiler explosion at a chemical plant in Tongling City of east China's Anhui Province on Wednesday night.
The two suffered minor cuts from glass shattered in the blast and were sent to hospital for treatment.
Amateur video footage showed a huge fire and heavy smoke billowing into the sky following the explosion which happened at around 22:50 in a suburban area of Tongling. The fire has been brought under control.
Preliminary investigations indicate the explosion was caused by fuel oil burning, and that no dangerous chemical products were involved.
