I literally thought a couple times while watching this movie that it was AI written. But it had some very awkward moments so only a human could have written it, sadly.

The parenting dynamic is the best part. How she argued with her daughter was hilariously realistic. The fighting was good, especially how grounded the action was. Diaz wasn't overpowering every guy she fought. The grandma's boyfriend wasn't funny at all, and I didn't remember much of the second half, but i still had a good time. Its worth a watch.

I guess the cast is saving this movie, at least they make it somewhat enjoyable

Thanks Chris. You have been pouring it on lately. Good work! I can't imagine how hard this job can be for you at times constantly having to not enjoy a film because you have to be a critic. But, if you had fun too, that's awesome.
I have been streaming Buffy The Vampire Slayer on Hulu. Damn the show still holds up - minus Zander who gets on my nerves :)

I got about 10 minutes in and couldn't continue. Good to hear it gets better, i will give it another go.

I couldn't even watch a couple of minutes of it. I found it lacking cinematically, the camera work, the dialogue and the feeling it was captured on a high resolution camera on 30/60 or most likely 120 fps. I felt it was like watching a how it was made documentary, a behind the scenes type of viewing. A few moments was more than enough to know it had no depth for me, one way or another. Just my opinion of course.

Ohh man… the CGI was awful… the inconsistency was awful… the story telling was awful… the acting was horrible….it was an absolute sh*t show… it was just cringe.. the whole thing 😂
