You guys have inspired me to hike. I have lost 90lbs since last November getting out in nature, with another 60 to go. I’m doing my first 8 mile hike in a week and I’m hoping to build up to a weekend mini hike. Just want to say ty for uploading. If I never found you guys I don’t think I would have gotten interested in hiking in the woods. Hope you see this and know your story makes a difference.

Man, the gear is so much more advanced than just the 90s. All that stuff would be so heavy back then.

When my dad would take me backpacking as a kid/tween I would pack my “cute clothes” and he would say “it’s not a fashion show kid, you’re gonna wish you were warm instead of bringing that hoodie” haha now I dress like I’m ready for a hike at any moment 😂😅

I find the simplicity of your hikes and living style so calming. Can’t wait to see the trail as you go!

You both have the most friendliest faces and warmest smiles I've seen in awhile...even when talking about a poop shovel.

Can we just appreciate how they unpacked everything to show us this like wow. My dad will go away every year to go and fight fire's we're ever people need help. And he carries a big bag with all him stuff and another smaller bag from out of the trails and when he's fighting the fires. Both bags are pretty heavy and I've seen him struggle to pack them. It's hard to fit everything and hes days away from home so he has to bring everything he will need.

Omg iv been watching you both for a while now and mostly since iv had a few strokes but just seeing you do what you do is inspiration I can't walk but when I get there I'll deffintly try to live the dream which to me is what your doing as I'm able to use. 1 hand I keep looking at dehydrators and all kinds of different meals and snacks I could do and making a list of equipment I could start gradually start getting ready to go when my body will let me., I missed 3 years of my life since I was 32 so as soon as am able I want to start living again untill then I will continue to enjoy your videos thanks guys sending love and safe journeys for you all the way from the united kingdom😊

Hello from New Zealand. This is so amazing, unique and so down to earth. Not to demean other outfoor youtubers, but your videos are a lot more calming and easily accessible with unique perspectives like what your bags look like, what you do when come across towns and dehydrating foods. Good stuff
