I was on the covid floor in March of 2021 and spent 15 days on the ventilator and you all saved my life. I am celebrating a Christmas with my family that I almost didn't have. All because my heros never gave up on me. I have for months wanted to find a way to thank you all. My battle is feeling nothing comes close to enough to show the level of gratitude and thankfulness that is deserved for you all. The only way I can thank you is to help by telling my story and get people to get vaccines and hopefully make it so one less person you have come in the door. Please know that you are truly appreciated. THANK YOU 😭😊

In case people don't know, the bell sound at 0:34 is the code bell, meaning a patient's heart just stopped and now needs emergency CPR to save their life. In a normal setting this bell sends every nurse and staff member flying into that room to help. That the charge nurse is so burned out on this sound that she doesn't react tells you everything you need to know about the level of exhaustion nurses are now working under.
