I just got the screen last night. I’m terrified, because I haven’t been able to acquire a job since November and this was a lifesaver. I was working 8-hour days. I’m devastated. 😔

Although I still have some work available, just this past weekend it dropped drastically from like 20+ projects to about 6 for me. I think everyone is getting a hit and I normally spend at least an hour everyday on it so I'm a pretty active worker on the site. Hopefully it comes back for you and everyone else.

I've only been working on DAT for roughly a month. The projects do seem to fluctuate a lot, but I seem to get better quality higher paying ones in the mix and so far I haven't been without projects.

We'll see what happens. I bet at some point I'll see that screen too.

From the title of your video, I thought for a split second that you had gotten the boot from DAT! Yes, that happened to me about a month in, when I got the dreaded "...there aren't any projects..." message. I guess I am in a vice versa "predicament" as there is too much work on DAT, most of which are the projects related to comparing chatbots. Agreed, DAT could go bye bye at any time so I am gonna hustle on it while I can.

This happened to a lot of people, including myself. They seemed to have a large recruitment drive at the start of the year, maybe they overrecruited and the work just isn't there?

The prime companies are now conducting their own AI training on certain other platforms and in house, which means they’re taking work from the usual platforms and mostly, you still don’t know their identities. Also, companies like Scale AI (Remotasks) have multi million dollar government contracts so they’re not depending on the help like last year. Can’t say much more than this. Create some AI related apps, find free courses to learn new skills, etc.

I just did the starter assessment and said “they’ll get back to me via email” assuming this could take between days and months to get back to me (or not at all)???

They sent out an email the day you posted this (early SUNDAY morning) that the site was undergoing maintenance and was up later Sunday. Did you see it? I think it went out late Saturday night for me I agree that you can't rely on these sites to always have work for you to do.

just a suggestion for the thumbnail. I think the video might reach a wider audience if you had the background of the thumbnail with that message from the DAT website saying no work is available at the moment. I feel like a lot of people that search for DAT content online are faced with that screen so I assume it would persuade them to click the video if it was a key aspect of the thumbnail. it could replace the DAT logo in the thumbnail as DAT is already in the title.

I went through the assessment two weeks ago and still nada. I've read on reddit that it's not always about how you answer the assessment, but rather their need for workers, demographic region, or lack of projects for specific skillsets. Is this correct?
