Guitarist Al McKay has worked with everyone from Tina Turner to the Temptations. Yet most people remember him as a central part of the legendary 1970s disco outfit "Earth Wind and Fire". Mark Thompson caught up with Al in Paris to hear about his new blend of jazz, funk and disco backed by an all-star band.
We also meet the man who’s built up one of Africa’s best collections of vinyl records: legendary DJ Jimmy Rugami has been passionate about vinyl since the 1980s. Fans are now flocking to his stall in Nairobi, as analogue music enjoys a revival.
And we take a twilight trip to one of Paris’s historical monuments. The Pantheon is the city’s most illustrious tomb; now visitors are discovering its secret side after dark.
