How to glue a jigsaw puzzle together for mounting

My kids gave me a sweet Star Wars jigsaw puzzle for Christmas, and after it was done we thought it'd be nicer to hang it on a wall rather than just put it away. Here's what you'll need to glue your puzzle:
- clear drying craft glue
- a spreader for the glue
- spray adhesive
- foam boards for mounting

Spread the craft glue over the front of the puzzle using the spreader. Wipe up any excess with a cloth, and let the puzzle dry. Flip it over and measure the foam boards, cutting them down just inside the overall area of the puzzle so that they don't show from the front. Then spray on the adhesive and quickly stick the foam boards on. Put some heavy stuff on the back, and you're done!

Watched this a few years ago and glued a few 1000 pieces together. Been about 2 years since I did a puzzle and now I got a 3000 piece to glue together so had to get refreshed. Gonna be a fun one to flip!

Thank You!! I had no idea how to glue my 1000 pc "Lighthouses of the Great Lakes" puzzle. Success!! But ... as with most how-to videos, you made it look easier than it was. The puzzle glue was hard to work with, but I managed. I used exactly the same glues and boards as in your video, and it worked out great. Q: How did you transfer your completed, un-glued puzzle onto the boards?? : )
