It's like Kuro (the developers of Wuthering Waves) just looked at Sonic Frontiers' Wall Running and were like, "Ayo, we can do that." That is not a complaint, I am all for it.
Also, I know everyone in Genshin is immortal and physically incapable of aging beyond certain ages, but Nahida getting stuck under the roof of a temple, besides being a poor design choice, does seem like something a 4-year-old would do. Just saying.

Kuro games portrays these superhumans as superhumans in both in the story and while gaming whereas Genshin Superhumans are nerfed in the gameplay from their lore counterparts. Wuthering waves literally took every annoying thing from Genshin and fixed it like saying “ Nah I’d Win” not complaining Genshin is amazing but WuWa is a breadth of fresh air.

Imo, wuwa is surely good than genshin but i dont think the resource it takes for them to execute it, will be good for the average mobile user long term.

Like aint no way they can keep all future expansion area have unique small hit box terrain to be parkour friendly.

The last case scenario is to go the genshin route of just having unique way of travelling eventually rather than make every terrain unique hitbox just to make it parkour friendly and add more mobile storage resource.

Their vision feels like for pc
Its just gacha is more for mobile market.

I dont think pc revenue is enough to keep this optimization alone thus they will surely cater mobile storage issues in the long term. Or else a lot will just go back to genshin. And so thus less revenue fund for future updates.

Its really not that deep. Genshin's based off of BoTW (said by devs themselves.). Kuro liked Genshin and wanted to take their own take on the genre with their traversal and faster paced combat to match it. At thats it really.

Ah yes, wuwa showing us how its done.. running on walls with 1 fps on pc, while in genshin I could have climbed the entirety of Dragonspine with the amount it takes for wuwa to register a single press of a w key. Truly revolutionary!
