Wow… what a surprise!
I played guitar and my twin brother J.C. played bass in this band, put together by Dwight Baldwin in New London Connecticut…
I haven’t thought about this band in years and had forgotten that we went in the studio, we mostly played live!
Anyway thanks for posting it…

Oh my God this record brings back so many memories for me. I was 11 or 12 (we lived in Montreal at the time) and was in the studio with Shades of Joy when this record was recorded because my mom sang background. After being in the studio all day I knew this song backwards and forwards. The sound was good to my young ear! This band was so good back then I use to say the were a smaller version of Earth, Wind and Fire, not as many members but the sound, just as good! The band's still around, not all the original members but still led by The Professor, so I can guarantee you'll still get the same true funk sound. Thank you for sending this to me Dwight B.
