I really like you showing just how easy it is to don a soviet helmet mask. That mask is still being used by some European police forces, the black is used to signify a high ranking member while grey is used for regular troops.

Ребята, не волнуйтесь по поводу асбеста, в советских фильтрах находится безопасный асбест (есть опасный а есть безопасный) он выполняет роль скрепляющего элемента в противоаэрозольной бумаге, а так же его используют в строительстве. Его там содержится мало, всего 7%, да и если он отвалиться каким-то образом, то застрянет в угле. Не бойтесь, сам дышал такими фильтрами, и советские люди тоже этим дышали. Все живы здоровы ;) но помните, главное чтобы фильтр был в хорошем состоянии и не очень старый.

Looking into getting one, but are the cheek filters hazardous like other Soviet filters?
