let me tell ya'll a little story about something I like to call, the ladder dance



one day I was working on a demolition of a car storage facility and it was a curved roof design, such as any aircraft hangar would be designed.



was standing on a ladder removing light fixtures


stood on ladder while relying on a chain bolted to the roof to keep me safe


chain broke loose and I slipped sideways


went left and right from foot to foot at least five times before jumping off and landing on my feet looking like a dazed chicken


laughed like hell with my buddies about it for like an hour

I have to do that dance on a regular basis at work. I work at a fast food restaurant and there are many places that I have to lean way over to reach because there is immobile or stuck equipment in the way. Any suggestions?

Be careful with carrying loads, they will easily affect the ladder's center of gravity.
