I used to live in Arizona and one of the lunches was some radioactive tuna with crusty cabbage. It was a private school too.

That was "shit on a shingle", not spam and gravy. You take chipped beef, fry it in a pan a little to release some grease and heat it up, then you make gravy out of milk, flour and butter and you eat it with white bread or a biscuit. It's not bad actually, I like it.

The last thing looks like "zapekačka" in my country. You basically take the bottom half of a baguette, put on ketchup, ham, cheese and perhaps corn or mushroom and then bake it for a few minutes. It is a common fast food and really tasty
