WOW! Look at this Supermarine S.6b Airfix kit from 1957!!!

Built this as a kid in the early 80's. Would love to see it re-released

I built this kit in 1957! It made up into a lovely model, and of course was on floats. I’m fairly sure it was a direct ancestor of the marvellous Spitfire!

Built the 57 version back in the early 70's. Would certainly build a remould in the style of the new mould 1/72 Tiger Moth

Built this more than as a kid in the 60's. It cost 2 Bob, or 2/- or 10p in today's money! As I recall it was a lovely model to build and looked like it was doing 400 mph just sat on the windowsill ...!!!

Maybe a retooling because the old moulds must a bit worn by now but having said that yes I would buy it again

I built the Hawk 1/48 scale model which was probably as old or older.

There should be a range of kits and new toolings of Record Breakers and Experimentals. So the S6B, the Fairey Rotodyne, the Bristol 128A High Altitude Record monoplane, the Fairey Long Range Monoplane, the Fairey Delta 2, 1, 000mph plus and its development BAS 221 for Concorde research, the Saunders Roes SR53 Rocket Plane, the Bolton Paul Delta, the de Haviland 108 tailless, the Bristol 188 research aircraft, the Hunting 126 Jet Flap, the Armstrong Whitworth AW52 jet flying wing, the Short SC5 VTOL research aircraft; need I add more.
