This can be due to simply just climate changes over the years and other forms of human impact on the total global environment causing rainfall in other places... Its also in Morrocco which sure is part of the Sahara but is also on the coastline of the Atlantic meaning rainfall can occasionally hit the region far more often than inside of Libya for example. Though lets say the Bible is correct and this is occurring, it could still be summed up to science and other forms of reason then just simply a verse of text stating a vague form of what is occurring.

For those of you unaware. Such flooding is fairly normal for Southern Morocco. Atlas Mountains+proximity to ocean+favourable winds make this happen every couple of years. Just not always to such extend-that is why it typically doesn't make the international news.
