It never ceases to amaze me how many drivers seem ignorant of when to use a bus lane. This video shows 2 drivers blatantly ignoring the rules (both are committing an offence which carries a £60 fine) and the second would have crashed into us had we not taken evasive action, regardless of whether it's a bus lane or not undertaking in these circumstances is also illegal.
Almost every time I approach this bus lane during the bulk of the day no cars are using it during however during the 4 hours of operation (morning and evening) many cars jump into it, so is the sign too complicated to understand? Be warned there is a mobile CCTV van patrolling the streets of Halifax and this is exactly the type of infringement it will capture and enforce.
