Best mochi I’ve had in Japan was in Kyoto at the famous food market. The mochi makers were pounding fresh mochi the old fashioned way. Matcha skin, red bean filling, grilled over charcoal. *chef’s kiss*

I went to Japan I would highly recommend it it is amazing 😻 neat quite quiet and loud at the same time. People are very kind. Food is very good and everything is very cheap to. It’s an amazing place. I would recommend it if you think need to go there and also 711 and family mart will be your best friend and also there is lot of vending machines right go vending machine will be drink the lemonade mixed. I don’t know how to describe it but but it has like a yellow type of colour to it, it’s really good. I recommended getting vending machines in my heart.❤

The best mochi on planet Earth is one with fresh thick custard (regular or chocolate) with a super sweet in-season fresh strawberry on top. I dream of it daily.
