AAL335: For American 335, we’ll do the MAYDAY-MAYDAY-MAYDAY, just to give you a heads up, we will be returning.
DEPARTURE: American 335, roger, and you should be getting the runway here in a second, turn left heading 060.
AAL335: Alright, left heading 060. Any chance we can slow just slightly?

DEPARTURE: American 335, roger, maintain 220 knots and just let me know if you need anything else, it will be RW 28C.
AAL335: 28C, thanks you, American 335.

AAL335: We have to take a little bit more time.
DEPARTURE: American 335, roger, and… Turn right heading 070. How much estimated time? How much longer do you think you need?

DEPARTURE: American 335, are you good with 28C or would you prefer 28R?
COMMENTS: We’re unable to hear American 335. It seems 28C was okay for them.

THE VALUE OF THIS VIDEO:
THE MAIN VALUE IS EDUCATION. This reconstruction will be useful for actual or future air traffic controllers and pilots, people who plan to connect life with aviation, who like aviation. With help of this video reconstruction you’ll learn how to use radiotelephony rules, Aviation English language and general English language (for people whose native language is not English) in situation in flight, which was shown. THE MAIN REASON I DO THIS IS TO HELP PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND EVERY EMERGENCY SITUATION, EVERY WORD AND EVERY MOVE OF AIRCRAFT.

SOURCES OF MATERIAL, LICENSES AND PERMISSIONS:
Radar screen (In new versions of videos) – Made by author.
Text version of communication – Made by Author.
Video editing - Made by author.

HOW I DO VIDEOS:
1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation.
2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need.
3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight.
4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft.
5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route.
6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation).
7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.

A nice contrast with the "angry ATC" and pilot failure videos that seem to be getting a lot of attention lately. Tower gave the pilot all the help they could without adding unnecessary distraction or increasing the workload. The pilot was calm, professional, and acted properly (presumably, since he landed safely).

The a321 has 3 independently functioning hydraulic systems, known simply as yellow green or blue.
The plane can fly on just 1 of these systems in a sluggish and degraded way.

Are you able to do a video on United flight 446 that diverted to Dulles with a hydraulic problem on the 23rd? My friends dad was one of the pilots! Should have been flying MCO-EWR. Thanks!

Wonder why not 28L. It’s over 2, 000 longer.

"Ok at this point, we are going to declare a MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY and if you do not mind, we would like a holding pattern for a few hours while we run some checklists."

Nice to see an American airline do mayday mayday mayday rather than "we are declaring an emergency". ICAO standards are there for a reason. :D

These A321's constantly have hydraulic issues. So far 2 times this year, I have had flights cancelled because of hydraulic issues. Airbus's suck
