How I build wealth:
1. Go to college or learn a skill/trade
2. Don't have kids before marriage or outside of a long term relationship
3. Secure your credit. Learn the game and play it to your advantage.
4. Live below your means. Be able to live off one income in a relationship.
5. Every paycheck pay yourself first in liquid savings and drop 15% into retirement
6. Buy a house and land
7. Surround yourself with like minded individuals
8. Be in competition with yourself, not others.

You should have a conversation about the racist mayor of Chicago but then you'd be real news.

One way to gain wealth is to be strategic in spending your money. Always create multiple income streams. Create a sound financial structure for your household, the same way businesses do for the next 5, 10, 50 year plan. Create a culture of financial education in your home. Let your money circulate in your community like other communities do. Be a job creator through entrepreneurship.

Blacks in America have had more opportunity to succeed than anywhere else in the world! I worked with several African-Americans in my place of employment who made more money than I did. I didn't begrudge them that. But also in my city, the black graduation rate is 50% and has been for DECADES! You're only guaranteed equality under the law - the rest of it you have to work for!

The only real progress I see is that CNN would’ve never had this discussion 20 yrs ago on their platform which is something I guess. I could see the black inequality improving slightly in the next 30 yrs. Corporate White America doesn’t care for highly educated high-performing Asians to take up leadership roles so why would they ever let blacks who they see as inferior to Asians? When too much power is in the hands of one race, how do we stand a chance? Last thing: I’m glad they didn’t have annoyingass con artist, Boyce Watkins in this discussion. Thank god for that…

I was quite interested in what the first guest had to say until I heard him talk about the Georgia voting law. He’s either woefully misinformed (ie didn’t actually read it or follow the recent news) or is willfully being misleading on that point. My interest is waning….

Don’t spent it on drugs, the strip club or lottery tickets.

My interest is gone… the interviewer clearly intentionally said “axe” instead of “ ask” 8:50 ish even though she’s clearly educated, is reading from a script and hasn’t used any other colloquialisms of that variety in the video. Big cringe moment.

Black weath well. Black people founded rock rock n roll jazz soul gospel Rnb Reaggea and rap but the music industry which is run by non blacks are running black music and own the rights of the music.

Black people are being forced out from inner cities through gentrification and mass incarceration when they have been forced to live in the projects and not to move to whit neighbourhood because of racial segregation till the 60s.

Black people don’t have fair chances for work in the job market because they cannot keep up with cheap workers from abroad who get less then the minimum wage.
And also because America is so deindustrialised many black people in the mid west like Illinois or Michigan are poor and unemployed.

Black business are also targeted by gentrification and black people don’t have it easy to get financial credit from banks so there is no blacks wealth 4 the people who have built this country, played a Key factor in the American civil war the unification of the north and south, the founding of the modern American way of life like Rock jazz soul funk Rnb hip hop....
