The daring fast rapid hydrospeeding Lake District England

Narration: Hi this is Shakira and welcome to our Vacation Sightings Magazine Channel. Let's see what's showing next… Located at the breathtakingly beautiful high force waterfall on the River Tees in Lake District in the UK. Our hydro speeding adventure is perfect for thrill seekers looking to get close to the action, jump straight into the action, and surf your way down the river rapids while holding tight onto your hydro speed board. Under the safe guidance of our experienced instructors you will spend an amazing day on the water. What is hydrospeeding? A sport that involves jumping into fast flowing white water which then carries you along at speed, while buoyed up by a
float this is definitely one for the daredevils.

After meeting your river guide and receiving a brief introduction to the day, you will kit you out with the top-of-the-range safety equipment and carry out a brief water confidence assessment. Once you’re been given the all-clear and we have answered any questions you may have, you’ll get your hydro board. Then you are ready to take on the river!

After a lesson on how to steer, stop and read the river, we head into the main flow and you’ll follow your guide through the water. Hold on tight as you feel the power of the river and the adrenaline starts to flow. Ride fast-flowing rapids, blast through standing waves, submerge yourself as you duck-dive over waterfalls, surf foamy white waves and try wicked rock jumps.

Finally there’s a calm section of water where you can gather your thoughts and take in the amazing scenery and wildlife.

This world famous River Tees rises in the north Pennines. Interesting stories can be narrated from the rocks and landscapes of the area. From moving continents to tropical seas, of molten rock, ice sheets and of minerals and those that mined them.

The Pennines are a region of rounded uplands that extend from the Scottish border about halfway down the length of England, They are also known as the Pennine Chain, Pennine Hills and are often referred to as the backbone of England.

It is an upland area, and a destination of wild moors, remote hills, broad valleys and scattered stone built settlements.

The Lake District is in the northwestern part of England, and is known for its picturesque mountain scenery. You will find the highest point in England here, at 3210 feet, Scafell Pike.

Over and above adrenalin water sport activities Lake District, Cumbria is well known for being climbing country, with easy fell walks, sailing, and canoeing.

Many of the towns and villages hidden among moorland, or perched on mountainsides hold fares throughout the year. Local crafts are practiced and workshop smithies and potteries welcome visitors.

On 9 July 2017 the Lake District joined some of the world’s most iconic locations, including Hadrian’s Wall and the Taj Mahal, receiving international acclaim as a world-class cultural landscape. This followed a bid for World Heritage Site (WHS) status which was driven by the 25 organisations that help manage the National Park through the Lake District National Park Partnership.
UNESCO projects in the UK generate an estimated £151 million of financial benefit each year and help bring communities together to protect and conserve some of the most important places across the country.
