I'm in Utah and have several Heritage River Birch trees. They all are healthy now, but I wonder if this would be a good preventative to apply each fall. Is this as effective as doing a root drench? I looks more simple. What product would you recommend?

How does the ground systemic application compare to an actual systemic injection into a tree, such as a 100' maple to control aphids for example?  Also, if you're to use any method in the fall on fruit trees, does one have to worry about killing bees pollinating ?
