After watching Multiverse of Madness, this episode just becomes more depressing. Christine dying isn't just a fixed point in time, its a part of the constant throughout the Multiverse. A constant where, whatever universe it is, Strange can never get Christine.

This is also explains a plothole in a way from the first dr strange movie of why kaecillius never used the time stone to get his family back as he probably went through what strange did, them endlessly dying over and over again and forced him to go to dormammu and the dark dimesnion, instead of using soul stone or reversing an absolute point

I like to admire the fact that even though he literally tries all he’s got to save her, he doesn’t attempt what kaecillius(probably misspelled that) did and try to follow dormammu. I think that’s why kaecillius led that cult, to prevent death according to his “death is an insult” speech.

I really hope in Multiverse of madness, which is our main timeline, is the one reality where Christine survives. But probably doesnt get married as we've seen in the trailer, she's apparently getting married to some other man since Strange has been gone for 5 years.

Strange Supreme's extreme reaction to Christine's death and refusal to accept it become even more empathetic after the reveal about Strange's sister in 'Multiverse of Madness'.

After seeing Across the Spiderverse, I think there are 3 types of fixed points in time/canon events:

1) Events that are supposed to happen are changed, but have little to no effect on their universe (Miles from Earth 42 not becoming Spider-Man, Mayday being born, Spider-Noir’s rubix cube, etc.)
2) Canon events that are easily changed and immediately cause the collapse of the universe (the universe that Miguel destroyed, Kingpin almost destroying his universe to bring his family back)
3) Fixed points of time that refuse to change and will keep repeating unless extra power is used to force change (Christine’s death)

Turns out Lyla wasn’t so smart about predicting the rules of the multiverse
