Here's to sedans like the Honda Accord: they’re generally more enjoyable to drive than SUVs and there’s something to be said for the sleek styling of a proper car. But the reality is they just can’t compare when it comes to space and versatility. That doesn’t make the prospect of watching them slowly disappear any less depressing, and if you look at the mainstream market today you’ll see it’s already happening.

An accurate review of this car. You also get low maintenance costs, good reliability, and decent resale value. I'm driving a 21 Touring. Cars ride and handle better than any suv or cuv. Design is subjective. I like the looks EXCEPT for the tail lights. UGH. Be aware. The lower trim levels are a bit different. The 1.5 T comes with a CVT, and is a bit noisier than the touring. The wheels and tires are smaller which may improve your fuel mileage. You do get most of the safety features except for the parking sensors, cross traffic alert, and low speed braking assist that come with the Touring model. In sport mode, the motor, transmission, and suspension all work well together and you can tell the difference from normal mode. I paid $36k USD out the door. I looked at the BMW 3 series (I know, not apples to apples) but you have to spend 10k more to get all the same equipment and the last time I checked you cannot get ventilated seats on any 3 series. This is my 6th Honda vehicle, so yeah, I'm a fan.

The Forward collision warning sensitivity is adjustable. Turn it down a notch and you're golden.

Hey Dan, Is the top of the line Chevrolet Malibu in your future reviews? I would really like to see what you think about it before it goes away. Thanks for the great video and looking forward to your next review! Cheers!

As an owner of the same car for the past 3 yrs. you get used to the gear shift lever after 3 weeks. All you reviewers complain but the Honda system is actually logical in its placement and ease of use. It’s close to you’re hand when making reverse and forward maneuvers. It’s a non issue when you own the car for a few weeks

Here in America ...the Touring is only available with the 2.0t...When this Generation came out in 2018...the 1.5t was available as well...not in 2021.

You are crazy. Push-button transmission is so much better than a turn knob. Simple click of a button and it doesn't obstruct your path to the storage in front of it.

If this is midsize what the hell is full size these days? The panther chassis died in 2011

Dan, My problem with sedans these days is the sloping roof line craze sweeping car design. If I get adequate headroom in the front seat of a 'mid-size' sedan logic dictates I ought to be able to fit behind myself but sadly that is not the case. Modern sedans are tragically over-styled and so impractical it is no wonder everyone is buying boxier CUVs. Speaking of tragically over-styled, if Honda did come back with a manual Accord they would probably use push buttons instead of a gear lever. ;-)

Also head room is plenty I am 6 ft tall my son who is 6’3 fits fine in the back seat. Also on average driving on city roads 40km one way to work from Ajax fo Richmond hill. On a weekly basis I average anywhere from 7.8-8.5 liters per 100 km. I use all 3 modes. Obviously if you keep your foot to the floor and in sport you will average over 9 for sure. But normal driving with some sport mode you should be able to average under 9 liters per 100km for sure. Fill up is once a week on regular i put a tank of premium in once every couple month. No big difference.

This is vehicle has an Ugly front end.
That chrome unibrow has got to go!
Other than that, I see why people like them.
I rather have the Mazda 6!

This is one ugly car. It looks to me like a grasshopper or a praying mantis. Weird shape and very polarizing. I still prefer the Camry over this 1000%. And the price, I can buy a mid sized SUV.
