Hey Sir ER doc and flight surgeon here. Great video just a heads up a pulse ox can’t tell the difference btw oxyhemoglobin and carboxyhemoglobin (for CO poisoning). So pulse ox usually normal with CO poisoning.

They are definitely getting better, as it is now it's very tempting. If it had ForeFlight connectivity I'd be all over it.

Great video! Would love to see a follow up on the logbook feature and if you can easily export to digital logbooks...

Agree on all points. I have returned the previous D2 Air, but this one will most likely hold. A cool addition would be automatic activation of Pulse Ox when the watch detects you fly.

The oximeter will not help for detecting carbon monoxide. In fact, carbon monoxide will read falsely high on the oximeter. Still need the CO detector. The oximeter is good for hypoxia related to altitude though.

Nice watch. I have the fenix 7x. I wonder if aviation programming could be added? I would like to see the the d2 air x10 with solar. That is one of the big things for me.

Great review. I got one of them but I couldn't see and access all those 50 Contacts with Phone Numbers on this X10 Watch itself which were set/added up in Garmin Connect app on my phone so I couldn't tap dial/call any of those contact directly on the X10 watch. What about you?

Awesome video! Will it work on the Garmin Pilot flight simulator/xplane mode?

Great video! I just got my private pilots license 4 months ago and am currently working on my instrument rating and have been working on it for around 2 months now struggling to get ready to take the written I’m currently scoring low to mid 80’s on the practice tests. Any tips for the instrument written/flying? My goal is to get all the way up to being a commercial pilot and then to the airlines when I’m 21! Thanks so much! Can’t wait to keep following along and learning more!

Wish there was a vibrate setting for the notifications. I’ll be in a quiet room and it’s so loud. Other than that it’s been great for flights and exercise.

Could you show the golf feature for this watch as I like to play golf when on contract so would be great if it has a good golf feature. Showing courses and distances etc. Thanks.

I love mine. Only "issues" I have with it are to do with the software and are very minor. Even then, it's mainly just adding more options.

Such as adding the weather glance to be on the face for when I'm not around the airfield.

Or more options to put on the shortcut key.

So really I have no complaints so far!

Hello. Great video. Where the watch takes airports data? Online? I can use it in Italy? Make calls means also talk using mic and speaker from watch? Thanks a lot

Do you get flight plan mode? With map? Radio zones switch notifications? Does it only handle GPS or Galileo as well?

Great video.
I was considering buying the Fenix 6 but now this seems like an upgrade. However i do wonder how rugged this watch can be. I do fly but i also like to hike and swim. Would it have the same gps capabilities and water depth resistance as a fenix? Also is there a sapphire option for this watch? Thanks!

I bought the Garmin D2 Bravo, when it first came, about 7 years, ago. Probably, will purchase this watch, much user friendly, than the bravo, since it had much too many widgets, to work..
