Why I Tie My Peep The way I do

WHY I tie my peep the way I do. I prefer to tie in my peeps with a simple over and under knot system that have sliding knots above and below the peep. Then I wrap one single wrap around the peep once it's where you need it to be. If you use the other methods out there for tying in a peep by serving it in then it means you have to comeplely retie your whole system. My method allows for an easy string twist to get your peep oriented and then one simple thread to lock it back in its place.

A ton of customers want the fancy tie in but such a pain when it's not in the right spot or needs adjustment. Hopefully since you said it I won't have to tell people no so often!!! 😂

iv Been doing this for 20years. Strings were not as stable back then and if you did a full peep tie in you would go insane having to re do it weekly

I’ve been tying my peeps for the last year the way you showed in your other video. I just go around the middle then follow it up with a bunch of half hitches. Has worked great. When did you start doing it this way? I think you have several videos I’ve seen about how you tie your peep and all show different ways of tying.

If the peep is 180° from the correct position, why not just take the string out and turn the whole thing 180°, so the peep and D-loop are now in the right position?
