It's really hard to be a refugee anywhere which is why I understand why these people would want to go back. Elsewhere, they'll have to start from scratch, while in Ukraine, they have roots, friends, relatives, and lives that are waiting for their return. Praying for their safety and well-being.

I just can't fathom this. Taking young children back into an active genocide type war zone is just plain irresponsible. "But we just want to go home." Haven't they been paying attention? You don't think about going back until things have stabilized not when things are escalating. Those large trenches in the ground with all the body size black bags aren't there for fun.

They are going back to there men aged 18-60 years old that are not allowed to leave the Ukraine.

Some people may not be able to perceive, .... Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but love for immigrants. There's is a freedom that lives in the heart of where you are from. Even with known knowledge if their areas being bombed, these people are going home. I am from the city of New York, New York. And it has been a long journey back to my hometown. At times there are signs of hindrance other times signs of hope. Some people will never understand the deep feeling of familiarity belonging to home! And so, just like the Ukrainians. I too, an African American daughter is going back home.
