I made the same trip in 2019, I really enjoyed the remoteness of Bleaker Island. No light pollution at night, so a perfect view of the Southern Cross constellation.

When I was down there I was surprised to find that the Falkland Islands had more Austin Gypsies than ever marred Britain's roads. As a Scottish girl of my acquaintance put it "Like Shetland without the trees". I hope you found the Islanders as friendly as I did. A fantastic place to visit and I'd go back tomorrow given the chance.

USA here....i lived in the State of Vermont when the Falklands war stayed up to midnight to hear the BBC radio broadcast about the "Iron Lady" beer...great name...if it wasn't for her the Falkland's would not be "British" any more...thanks for the trip

Very interesting video showing your travel to Falklands. I have now watched two videos showing your travel and inward travel to Bleaker Island.
Very enjoyable.
I’m hoping you have more videos as i would love to see more if Stanley.
How do you acres money in Falklands ? Is there a cash dispenser at bank or any of the stores ? Can you pay by switch. ? I’ve heard it’s tricky to get money.

I’d love to visit. I know there are two options from uk. Either on the Airbridge from Brize Norton or the way you went. I would love to take the route via Santiago and Punta Arenas? Is it worth staying over a night in z Punta ?
It was great showing your flight down and the realty of the delays. Also you said great scenery.

Super video. Hoping for more. Thanks.

Nice video but why did you spend a whole day in your hotel room why not visit santiago or viña del mar? The plane on the falklands was a britten norman islander with some nice avionics.

An enemy of my enemy is my friend, pretty much as Britain saw Pinochet, the leader of Chile when fighting Argentina?🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧

Argentina best chance is to convince the residents of the island that eating asado will be their best future

What on earth made you refer to the FIGAS aircraft as a ‘Cessna’! It’s a Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander.

You correctly referred to a car that you didn’t recognise as a 4x4. You didn’t call it a Land Rover.

Kelpers had the first landing strip thanks to the Argentine Air Force, that built it in 1972 with aluminum sheets taken along with heavy machinery from Buenos Aires.
This brought undoubted benefits to the well-being of the islanders for many years.
Then the British, on May the 1st 1982, bombed that runway...
