As Andor concludes in it's final episode of the season. We see an Imperial act in a way we might have never seen before on screen. That being specifically Dedra Meero with Syril. But what's more interesting, is how will this affect the beginning of Andor Season 2.

Watching Dedra panicking being overtaken by the mob was great. She's not made for the down and dirty part of the Empire. She never could have imagined the what the violence was like when it isn't presented as neat and tidy numbers, holos or reports.

Dedra Meero panicking was really interesting. She had been nothing but intelligent, calm, and collected but when she was confronted with the reality of the situations she had been orchestrating, Dedra (like the rest of the imperals) panicked.

It's funny that Cyril initially came to Ferrix to hunt down and take revenge on Andor, but his final decision is to save Dedra's life, which is a parallel to Cassian himself, whose main goal in the series also becomes the salvation of his beloved, Bix.

Syril and Dedra Meero’s relationship in the show is sooo interesting and cool. I loved seeing her thank Syril for saving her and I liked Syril having the chance to do something competent by saving someone else.

this dude is an underrated actor, he presents so much emotion in all of his scenes

What I liked about the scene where Dedra is trapped in the trample/rioting is that it shows her first true upfront experience of violence and the consequences the Empire can face from forcing tyranny

The will they/won't they kiss moment was perfect. I was sat watching it and the show runners played it perfectly.

One thing I did noticed is that Syril and Dedra both have had a focused and methodical plan to get Cassian Andor, and both have disastrously failed in doing so and even at the same place. It's as if they are made for each other.

They had more chemistry in that one scene compared to kylo ren and rey who had an entire trilogy.

Damn after being a clown all season, Syril finally does something competent and claps some Imperial cheeks

Dedra: You! Why!?
Syril: You were in trouble.
Syril pulls away the weapon she has at his neck
Dedra: I should say thank you.
Syril: You don't have to.
Now if that isn't love..

All of a Andor’s characters are great because they’re complicated and believable. Dedra is no exception. She’s not just evil to be evil. She is trying to climb the ladder at her work and isn’t afraid of stepping on others on the way up. But she isn’t just evil for the sake of being evil.

For anyone who still doubts the romance ...

Tony Gilroy deadass said that the true reason why Dedra was freaked out by Syril grabbing her arm was because she hasn't been touched in years

The actors Kyle Solelr and Denise teased how the characters are twin flames and it is a love story

Kyle Soller also mentioned how Syril has feelings for Dedra and that he hasn't been in love before and that it is a fresh experience bro holy shit

Dedra was about to be devoured by that mob

You can clearly see that these two have a passionate connection brewing. They also hinted it in their interview they had together. They were practically gloating after one another

I think so far in Andor most Imperials actually come of much more relatable than ever before.

I have a feeling they’re going to have a really toxic, unbalanced relationship, which could honestly go either platonically or romantically. Both would be really compelling, but something about the latter feels like it has so much more potential to almost be sickening.

Gosh, I really wish we were getting at least 3 seasons. I wouldn't mind the show slowing down EVEN more to flesh more things out. I understand that many complained that this show was too slow, already, but I am in love with the pacing and how everything is fleshed out.

There’s definitely something going on there. Dedra’s gonna need a new assistant after Cinta shanked her old one, and I have a feeling she might have found just that.

Both of them are also familiar with the harrowing concept of losing control of the situation and seeing their men killed. There is chemistry. But even if there is no romance, I have little doubt they will at least become the most trusted of friends considering their similarities. And genuine trust in the Empire is a rare and valuable thing.
