Director Elia Kazan gave composer Alex North his first Hollywood jobs, and the latter would go on to become one of the most famous and influential film score composers of the past century. This is the most famous piece from one of his earliest scores, a slowly building, ultimately rousing march as citizens rally to the side of revolutionary Emiliano Zapata.

Directed by Elia Kazan, with a screenplay by John Steinbeck. Starring Marlon Brando, Anthony Quinn, Jean Peters and Alan Reed. Music by the great Alex North.

I like that. "Helping the law". They have the rifle pointed right at the bad guy. If you ever get a weapon like that pointed at you, you'll know how scary that is.
