My favourite all time movie. Loved everything about it from the chemistry between the actors to the soundtrack [which I have]. I must have watched it 100 times.. Rob Lowe is soooo lush!!!

Great touch at the end showing him running after her but NOT forgetting his gear and bat! I think most directors/actors would have easily overlooked this and it adds tremendously to the film’s authenticity.

I do not know why I love this movie so much; chick flick right?? My favorite ending of a movie ever! Awesome song and watching how fast he catches her and then she gets off her bike and they walk away and the credits keep rolling. It is endings like this as to why you should always watch the credits instead of rushing out for what?? Agreed it is hard to believe it has been 35 years. I am a BabyXer born in 64.

They recently asked Rob Lowe on his podcast if he thinks Danny and Debbie are still together. Without a blink of an eye his said 100%%%% You can tell they would be the type to be married forever. The kinda remind me of my wife and I and what happened to us. I broke up with my wife over something very stupid as her roommate was interfering, I realized I was a fool and we got back together again with a very similar scene at the end of this movie. We have been married 33 years and going strong. Four amazing and successful children. We got married at 23 like Danny and Debbie. My wife has a bit of Demi Moore beauty in her and I am not as good looking as Rob Lowe but I am much tall at 6'6' and 240 pounds. LOL

& yes but at least I'd like to believe that somewhere there is hope for the John Belushi & Elizabeth Perkins characters to get together. Corny maybe but still way better than 90% of the so called rom-com movies out there today.

The first real MTV movie before there ever was MTV. Gr8 date movie which is very 80s & yet so relatable. Terrific soundtrack & the ending is just RIGHT 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

I love this ending. Notice that Danny catches up with Debbie. Look carefully and you can see her get off her bike. They then are together and probably talking. Make me wonder what happened to them...
