I don't understand why they do this drill. Shouldering the rifle at 45° looks more formal and is safer. And A single rank is safer and looks better too.

problems with this video:
1. when charging the weapon, always make sure it's pointed in a safe direction-- straight up, or at the ground.
2. don't become overconfident in your AK's reliability. all guns need proper maintenance. this is called a slam-fire. the firing pin is stuck forward. since these are full-auto military versions, he's lucky it didn't runaway-fire (keeps firing uncontrollably until it's out of ammo) i had a friend who's SKS used to slam-fire. not good.
