2018 Civic Type R (320hp) - 0-260 km/h LAUNCH START!

FAST Autobahn acceleration with the new Honda Civic Type R powered by a 2.0 VTEC Turbo with 320 hp & 400 Nm of torque through 6-speed MT and FWD. Yes, this car is pure Motorsport...likely the best hot hatch I've driven so far. The most engaging element really is the transmission which allows ultra-fast gear changes almost in the speed of a DCT. The acceleration figures are therefore quite impressive for a MT FWD car. I think having driven the focus Rs, A45 amg, the Rs3 and the Golf R and the Type R, where Honda have nailed it, is in the driving experience. It puts a smile on your face and you feel really involved in a good way. The other cars with their 4wd are faster off the line but in driving experience are 9/10 cars. The type r is a full 10/10. .

Atta boy! You could teach some of these kids a thing about shifting! Watch this video close teenagers, you cannot shift like your churning butter, it has to be quick, fast, and with throttle! Done properly, you will get amazing times!

If i had to buy this Civic Type R i would do just 2 things .
1. Full exhaust for better sound and performance
2. ECU tune

With only 300 hp and combined with an amazing low drag coefficient this car can hit 162 mph meanwhile mustang gt’s and camaro ss’s with 150+ more hp can barely go above the 160 mph mark.
