Lewis Pugh is a British-South African endurance swimmer and UN Patron of the Oceans. He was the first person to complete a long-distance swim in every ocean of the world and is currently completing The Long Swim from Land’s End to Dover (560km) to raise awareness of marine protected areas.

Lewis speaks at the Ocean Plastic Solutions Day in St Agnes, Cornwall, which was organised by Surfers Against Sewage in collaboration with Finisterre.

The event was attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and brought together key business leaders, innovators, NGOs, politicians, media and other key stakeholders to discuss and demonstrate the progress society is making in tackling ocean plastic pollution from source to sea.
