HVAC RANGE HOOD FAIL ❌ DIY Building An Orlando Airbnb

The city building inspector failed our inspection last week because we used the wrong material for the range hood installation. We’ve since swapped it out for hard metal, but now I’m facing the challenge of figuring out how to properly install the range hood’s power supply.
I was pretty surprised we failed for using the flexible vent material that came with the unit, but I guess each city has its own requirements. With the range hood now installed, we’re ready to schedule our final building inspection and wrap up this project. Stay tuned for more videos!
