Something I really appreciate about your videos is you don’t feel the need to tell your audience that something is bad and drag the perpetrators for 5 minutes every time some historical tragedy is mentioned. You say it plainly and honestly, then move on. Bravo.

This is probably the first time talking about Australian history that talks about inter tribal warfare between Aboriginals, because they always portray the violence as a one sided thing, in regards to Europeans vs Aboriginals and I don't think that helps anyone

A rather rapid summary, but 9 out of 10. However, the Kokoda track campaign was Australian only. Apart from that....

Point of clarification... he is known as Captain Cook, but he was lieutenant Cook when he was sailing to discover Australia

Finally a good fun video on straya that's almost accurate. especially the bits about the 1st people.
But there were no U.S troops on the Kokoda track. The Kokoda track was entirely Australian, with many Aussie senior officers literally dis-obeying orders from generals who weren't there. After Aussies retook Kokoda the U.S did supply aerial food and supply drops but there were no U.S. boots on the track. Some US troops were on the ground at Buna and Gona (so MacArthur could grab some credit) but they weren't ready for the Japanese and were mostly ineffective. There was a U.S. Construction battalion at Milne Bay were the Aussie stop stopped the Japanese onslaught (The first land victory against Japan in the War)

It's better to call this group of people "Indigenous Australians".
